Happy Birthday my sweet Chunka-Monk! We love every last tiny roll on your sweet body, your amazing smile, all of your precious gurgles and we're so happy that you are in our lives.

What a wonderful 5 days we just had with Auntie Kissy and Uncle Sal and we were so sad to see them go. This was their first visit to Alaska so they mixed in some super cool touristy stuff with just hanging with our family. Of course, they were smitten with our newest addition and they still think Dane is pretty cute too! Here are a few shots from their visit.

Auntie Kissy sure knows how to get her nephew smiling! In fact, the whole Hubert family has been smiling since the arrival of Auntie Kissy and Uncle Sal.

Don't you just want to eat this little butterball up? Yep, he's officially a butterball. He weighed in at 12 lbs 13oz at his 6 week old checkup yesterday, which puts him at the 95 percentile while only measuring 22 inches long (which is at the 50 percentile.) He's definitely not long and lean like his brother. You should see his sweet rubber band thighs - so cute!

Mom tip #1

Don't leave a 2 year old alone with a carton of raw eggs while you answer the phone!

We got lucky this time as none broke, but we may not be so lucky next time!

We survived our first week alone!

Sadly, all the grandparents are now gone and we've had to figure how to be parents of two all by ourselves. I'm proud to say that everyone is still alive and for the most part everyone is fed before all out wailing begins, most diapers are changed within a timely manner and all of our children have even gotten a bath this week (Bailey included!)

It was a beautiful week here in Juneau, so we were able to get outside nearly everyday. Here's a glimpse of what we were up to all week - a play date with Lindsi & Payton, a trip to Auke Rec to play in the sand, hiking East Glacier Loop & the Brotherhood Trail, a trip to the airport to visit Daddy and of course, lots of time in our own front yard mowing the lawn and riding "gikes!"

We were so blessed and redonkulously (that's for Ant Mmm & Unk Tim) spoiled to have our parents here for nearly 5 weeks! I really don't know what we would have done without them. They helped make the transition of going from a family of 3 to a family of 4 so much easier. We love and miss you tons and are already working on planning our next visit with you all!
