Let's Dance

Dane loves to dance these days and he especially LOVES to dance to KT Tunstall's "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" while we're driving in the car. You can see him signing more while he's waiting for the song to play. (Please excuse the commentary and the slight wait- he wouldn't perform on demand.)

The magic of Crayola!

Dane had his first experience with Crayola markers today and it was a HIT!

I love how serious he is in this picture. He's so intent on trying to figure out how to put the cap on - SO DADDY! :)

He was quite mesmerized with the new color of his hands.

That's when little Phelps will be making his BIG debut! Due to the fact that I had a c-section with Dane, I already know that I'll have to have one with #2. It's so strange being able to plan exactly when your baby will arrive. I guess I won't be able to have any excuses on being ready.

Do we not live in the most beautiful area? As much as we complain about the rain, thankfully, we are often reminded of what a paradise we actually get to live in.

Snow Day

Friday was our first official snow day of the school year! YIPEE! We have gotten a TON of snow recently and here are a few pictures to show just how much we've gotten.

We currently have 35 inches of snow sitting on our roof.

Here's a picture of Dan's office right outside our backyard taken this weekend. Look at those huge snowflakes.

And here is a picture from a recent sledding adventure. Erik & Lindsi have an inner tube and I don't think we'll ever go back to an old school sled again. Inner tubing was so much fun!! As you can see the whole family got into the action. (Yes, that's Dan AND Dane on top of me! And, of course, Bailey had to be there too.)

Well, we'll probably have to use this old school sled again. How cute are Dane and Payton in this old sled that Erik refinished? Too bad it looks like they are having the worst time of their lives!
