Here's how I feel about all those hats!

Disclaimer: This was taken sometime in January, so NO we still don't have our Christmas tree up! ;) Also, after the first 20 seconds you get the idea. No need to continue watching except if you're a hardcore Dane fan such as Grandparents.

Hats, Hats and more Hats

Dane has recently acquired a plethora of hats from both Nannie & Grandma Heidi. (Great Grammas think alike. ;) ) Just like anything with Dane, it did take awhile for him to appreciate the kind gifts, but now he can't get enough of them! He loves running around the house with them on his head. It's so cute. He definitely has his favorites though. The yellow construction hat and his personalized Mickey hat top the list!

Notice Daddy's shoes in the below picture. He is fascinated our shoes and stomps around all day in them.

This was Dan's Davy Crockett style hat when he was a little boy.

Let's Dance

Dane loves to dance these days and he especially LOVES to dance to KT Tunstall's "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" while we're driving in the car. You can see him signing more while he's waiting for the song to play. (Please excuse the commentary and the slight wait- he wouldn't perform on demand.)

The magic of Crayola!

Dane had his first experience with Crayola markers today and it was a HIT!

I love how serious he is in this picture. He's so intent on trying to figure out how to put the cap on - SO DADDY! :)

He was quite mesmerized with the new color of his hands.

That's when little Phelps will be making his BIG debut! Due to the fact that I had a c-section with Dane, I already know that I'll have to have one with #2. It's so strange being able to plan exactly when your baby will arrive. I guess I won't be able to have any excuses on being ready.
