to all of these AMAZING people -






We were so blessed and redonkulously (that's for Ant Mmm & Unk Tim) spoiled to have our parents here for nearly 5 weeks! I really don't know what we would have done without them. They helped make the transition of going from a family of 3 to a family of 4 so much easier. We love and miss you tons and are already working on planning our next visit with you all!

It's this cool guy's birthday!

This cool guy has begun the attachment stage. He's super attached to his yellow boots, "little Turkey" bib, sunglasses, Superhero PJs and his blue baseball cap that he wears backwards. If he could, he'd wear all of these things 24/7. It's so fun watching his individual style grow.

We had a small gathering of family and friends to celebrate his big day. His favorite part was most definitely the ice cream cake - much different then last years refusal to even try his cake! You can see he's trying to sneak an extra bite or two in the last picture. :)




Take note of what used to be Dan's train candle holder. It has 5 cars for Dane's first 5 birthdays. Thanks Nannie for saving it after all these years!

This sweet little face makes...

getting up nearly every hour in the middle all worth it! Although, I wouldn't complain one tiny bit if he decided to sleep in two or three hour stints!

2 weeks old today!

This one was taken during one of our many middle of the night get togethers! Jaeger was spending some quality time staring at the shadows on the wall.


Dane loves holding Baby Jaeger. Unfortunately, he seems to ask to hold him whenever Jaeger needs to be fed and is not cooperative at all, but the look on Dane's face is priceless!


And a cute pic of my soon to be 2 year old, who just like Daddy, is fascinated with planes.

We are officially in love!
We love his sweet coos (which he somehow manages to make without moving his lips - he's destined to be a ventriloquist)
We love his sweet sleep smiles
We love that he is a champion eater (he's gained an astounding 6.5 ounces in only 3 days!)
We love his mellow temperament
We love to just sit and stare at his beautiful face
We love his sweet piggy wiggies and Dane especially loves to play This Little Piggy Went to the Market with his toes
We love watching big brother Dane give him kisses on his head
We love every square inch of him and we even love seeing him at 1 am, 3 am and 5 am! Although talk to us after all of our amazing family leaves and I'm no longer given naps on a daily basis and I may be singing a whole new tune. :)
We feel so blessed to have such a healthy and perfect baby boy!
