Sunday Snapshot

This is what I came home to from my Reading Conference in Anchorage (otherwise known as "Mommy Vacation!") WOWZA - I should go out of town more often. :) Loved it all - the flowers, the wine and especially that sweet face in the background so excited to see his Mommy.

This adorable face greeted me at about 2 am and I happily sprinted into his room to love on my sweet Jaeger Ray.

I had a wonderful trip to Anchorage, but I was more than ready to come back to be home with my boys. Just a few days away really can recharge your batteries and I am thankful for a few days of me time (even if it was work! Which, by the way, was a pretty awesome conference!)

Movie Tuesday!?!?!?

I know it's crazy - Movie Monday on a Tuesday, but that's just how we roll. ;)

This video was actually taken about a week and a half ago and I'm proud to say that Dane is doing AWESOME in his big boy undies! He's only had one accident and it was right next to the toilet (he couldn't get his pants off fast enough.) Way to go little man. :)

Sunday Snapshot - Naked Fireman Biscuits!

Someone found his new fire helmet that wasn't supposed to be opened until Halloween. Can you guess what his costume will be?

Jaeger Ray wanted to say Hi too....

Look who's walking! This video was from a little over a week ago.

And here's another short clip from Friday. Isn't it amazing what can happen it just a week?

Sunday Snapshot

Well, the sun has definitely disappeared and the rain & wind have arrived! It's been downright nasty out the last few days. We still managed to get out yesterday despite the sideways rain coming down. Juneau had a Play For Free Day hosted by the Parks and Rec Department where they had all their facilities open for free to the public. We decided to head to Mt. Jumbo for their toddler open gym time. The boys had a blast even though we had to elbow our way in. We even left with a giraffe balloon animal which was a highlight for Dane. We then decided to stop by Project Playground on the way home to see what they had and we certainly didn't have to elbow our way in there! I think the above picture shows why. We managed to stay long enough for a bowl of chili (which Jaeger Ray LOVED!) and a cup of hot chocolate. But after about 5 minutes, Dane was ready to go home. And quite frankly, so was I!
