After about a week & a half, a dozen or so trips to Home Deep, several coats of varnish, and meticulous planning, we have an awesome sandbox for Dane and his friends. The best part is that most of the sandbox is made from recycled wood from our deck railing we took down last summer! Here are a few photos of the process.

this is so precious!!! chris and i had one in CT and it was hours and hours of fun... years later we realized though that the neighborhood cat was using it as his litter box, so keep it covered! hehe

This brings so many memories of the kids. Dane looks like he is really into building, taking after Daddy and Grandpa Lee....
