Lemon Squeezy (as my students would say!)
I'm referring to this guy's surgery of course.
Today really couldn't have gone any smoother.
Rosary arrived at our house at 6am to play with Dane and Daddy, Jaeger and I we were off to the hospital. The short stay surgery staff was wonderful and Jaeger's nurse, Lena, was especially sweet. She gave Jaeger this adorable white seal that he really loved as you can see below.

The actual surgery only took 12 minutes! And Jaeger was only away from us for about 30 minutes. He was a little disoriented while coming out of the anesthesia, but not nearly as bad as Dane reacted when he had this surgery 2 years ago. Jaeger drank his milk and cried for maybe 10 minutes. Once we were out of the hospital he was back to his sweet self.
Jaeger's ears were still so infected that this surgery gave him instant relief from the constant pressure that he's been having for the last 5 weeks.
The great thing about this surgery is now when Jaeger has an ear infection, we'll definitely know because his ears will drain instead of pool up in his ear canal and cause all that painful pressure. Also, we'll be able to give him antibiotic ear drops instead of oral antibiotics, which we've found have absolutely no effect on him. Unless they pull out the big nasty Rocephin shots! This last go around Jaeger had to have 2 nurses administer 2 HUGE shots - one in each leg. Poor little man still has 6 bruises on his sweet chunky legs. :(
I'm just thrilled to finally have this guy back...
