Sunday Snapshot Take 2
Daddy came home with these lovely treats tonight!
He certainly knows how to cheer me up - wine, flowers and Bullwinkle's popcorn!
Oh, and coming home to take care of the kiddos so I can blog. ;)

Home Depot Day!
What 3 year old little boy doesn't need one of these?
Yep, it's a football stand! A great place for Dan's old Minnesota Vikings football.
Dane, as usual, had a blast hammering, gluing, screwing and building. Besides Ward Air, Home Depot is his favorite place to be.

Our little preschooler!
When did my little firefighter lovin', goggle wearin', motorcycle lover, Manch dippin', M&M sneakin', sweet baby boy become old enough to enter preschool? Seriously, when did he go from this....

to this....

It's hard to believe that Dane had his first day of preschool today. He was such a big boy! He immediately ran to the rice table and then began pointing at all the fire related items in the classroom. Dane really wanted Mommy & Daddy to stay, but he didn't cry when we told him that school was just for kids and just like a big boy he said, "You always come back." A couple of hugs and kisses later we were heading out the classroom door. Of course, Dan had to take a few more pictures and Dane turned to him and yelled, "That's my Daddy!" Very disruptive, but oh so cute! Through watery eyes and a few sniff sniffs, Mommy & Daddy reluctantly left the building and let Dane begin his educational journey.

First steps
Our trip to the barber was a lot more eventful than usual.
Jaeger Ray decided to take his first steps while Daddy was getting his hair cut. Capital Barbershop is a one chair shop with Rhonda behind the chair. She has an adorable barbershop complete with toys for the boys, a mellow gray faced dog named Bear and plenty of Tootsie Pops for good clients. ;) You may remember this picture of Rhonda and Dane from Dane's first haircut.

So, here's how it went down...
Jaeger was holding on to the stroller and suddenly let go and just stood there for awhile. It was as if he didn't even realize he was not holding on to something. I then put my hands out to him and he took 3 steps toward me before falling to the ground. He managed a few more steps before he gave up completely.
I am thrilled that we were all there to witness this milestone!
Of course, neither of us had our camera so the picture of Jaeger falling down was taken from Rhonda's phone. We're glad to at least have one photo from this monumental event. And as soon as we catch him in action again we'll post a video.
