We had such a wonderful Father's Day. In fact, Daddy declared it the best yet! We started our morning with donuts and gifts.
Daddy's favorite gift was the sweet picture of Daddy hunting from Dane. And of course, the videos I took of the boys. I posted Dane's video yesterday, so here's Jaeger's video. It's so cute! (And the brown bag held a new knife that wasn't too shabby either!)
The rest of the day was spent reading the newspaper, doing the crossword puzzle, playing Legos, chatting with family, riding bikes, visiting a playground and Daddy getting the BEST NAP EVER!!! The boys and I ran a few errands so the house would be super quiet and we just let Daddy sleep. We finished off our evening with a special dinner request of spaghetti and meatballs. It was a wonderful day spent with my three favorite boys. :)
Yesterday, we took the family walk we had intended on taking on Sunday but just got too busy being lazy. ;) We took the boys to the Auke Lake Trail. It's one of my new favorite trials - it's absolutely gorgeous. And it's just a few minutes from our house. It's only 2 miles long which is the perfect length for the boys.
Dane found this centipede on the walk and named him Thornsley! He was so excited about finding him and he walked with us for most of the hike.
